The dilemma of healthcare in America is only getting worse and we are going to talk about it tonight on Challenging the Rhetoric. Too many good doctors are pushed out of hospitals so that fat cat owners can turn a better, although often unethical, profit. The means in which the blacklisting begins is something called sham peer reviews.
We all know what a peer review is however, sham peer reviews are specifically designed to remove and then blacklist physicians. These reviews are little more than professional slander and bullying and have the power to ruin the careers of the doctors who care about their oath of first do no harm.
Indiana internist, Dr. Vivek Sahgal will be joining tonight’s conversation on #TheGRILL. Dr. Sahgal will share his experience and knowledge of sham peer reviews while also discussing the healthcare crisis we face today.
In addition, Oregon dispensary owner, Griff Ford, will be on hand to explain the medical benefits of the cannabis flower as well as offer reassurance and a few tips for first time partakers whether they want to light-up for medical reasons or just because they can. Renee’s Herb Store is now also offers recreational bud to the 21-and-over consumer.
Your CTR Host, Cheri Roberts, will be joined again by guest co-host, Kim Lakin. Kim will be permanently co-hosting the new CTR series, SOS, that starts next week so she is currently in on-air training.
