All seven co-defendants, Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy, Shawna Cox, David Fry, Jeff Banta, Ken Mendenbach, and Neil Wampler, related to the January takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) outside of Burns, Oregon have been found “not guilty” today in Federal court. The Bundys and others took over the refuge instigating a 41-day occupation that resulted in the death of rancher Robert “LaVoy”Finicum.
Whether charges will be dropped against other co-defendants slated for the second February 14, 2017, trial, or whether any concessions will be made for those who previously accepted plea deals, is not yet known.
